Alice in Wonderland, jump into the rabbit hole! The Phantom Tolbooth will plow you over. This charming book has the same twisty logic without the hallucinating druggie author. It makes better sense in my opinion.
Meet Milo, a boy who is bored until he finds a tollbooth that transports him to a different land, a land populated by creatures befuddling, friendly, menacing, and mighty. He must rescue the princesses Rhyme and Reason to restore safety and order to the land.
